The firm can trace its origins in the county of Somerset as far back as the early nineteenth century. Although there have been many changes in the structure of the partnership since then, the overall aim remains the same - to provide people living in the South West of England with the best possible legal representation.
We currently have four offices in the region based in Shepton Mallet, Glastonbury, Castle Cary and Cheddar. The solicitors and partners in the firm regularly travel between these offices in order to make face to face contact with their clients wherever possible. This allows us to better understand the circumstances surrounding each case, and provides clients with the chance to ask any questions they may have.
In September 2005 Burrough & Co joined Bartlett Gooding & Wheelen to become our fourth branch.
